Benitoite
Benitoite is the State Gemstone of California and is only found in one location in the world, San Benito County, the home of TOPS A Rock Shop. Discovered in 1907, Benitoite is blue. It has a hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. It’s chemical composition is BaTi[Si3O9].
